In fall 2005, I used to follow the show "The Apprentice". I am not sure but I think it was the very first season of that show. Among the various contestants on the show, there was a girl called Omarosa. I hated her and everyone else hated her too and for that very reason she was fired early in the show as she was not a team player.
She was known for her temperamental, self centered attitude and her foul language. Normally this attitude would not take a person very far in life. But not so in this age. Now-a-days television needs such controversial people and they are paid hefty sums to be part of their show. They have a tag for themselves called "Reality show stars". I feel so sorry about this whole thing. I saw Omarosa in a lot of other TV shows later on and in all these shows she is expected to have that attitude and the foul language. That is her USP. I am not sure if she is like that in her real life, but she has to show that attitude to earn her living.
Even in India, there are lot people who are controversy's child. Rakhi Sawant, Sherylyn Chopra, Sambhavana Seth etc. By the way Sambhavana has been voted out of Big Boss this week. She also belongs to Omarosa's family. I never heard about her before Big Boss and I bet you she will be even more popular now because of her nonsensical attitude. People will invite her to numerous Reality shows and she will reach even more stardom.
